Meet The Director

Mark Lovinger, PHD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been in private practice since 1987. He has extensive experience in working with children, adolescents, adults and families.

Dr. Lovinger is on staff at the Cleveland Clinic and is an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Division of Psychiatry at University Hospitals, Case Western Reserve University. In addition, he lectures, teaches and supervises students and interns. Dr. Lovinger previously served as an Assistant Professor of Psychology in the Departments of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University Medical School, with a focus as consulting psychologist at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, Division of Behavioral Pediatrics.

Dr. Lovinger has appeared on numerous radio and TV shows, including MSNBC, CNN, and National Public Radio. He has also contributed and lectured for various associations and academic institutions, both domestically and internationally on topics related to divorce, court related custody issues, preparing children for divorce, eating disorders, attention deficit disorders, Tourettes syndrome, post traumatic stress syndrome, behavioral and learning problems in children and on parenting issues and interventions.

Dr. Lovinger is a member of the American Psychological Association, Ohio Psychological Association, Cleveland Psychological Association and The Society for Sex Therapy and Research. He is fluent in five languages.
